Pamela Card - The Bay of Silence Lariat Necklace

An ode to the Baia del Silenzio in Sestri Levante, named by Ligurian poet Giovanni Descalzo, who was so enamoured by the silence and peace of the bay that he truly believed time stopped. Anchored on a plunging multi chain lariat is a molten coin depicting a crescent moon superimposed on a radiant sun. The sun symbolizes positive energy and growth while the moon represents intuition and transition. Possessing a nostalgic quality, this heirloom begs us to find peace in the present moment and focus on reconnecting with ourselves.

Handmade in Vancouver from 24K gold vermeil (which is 3 microns thick of 24K gold plated over sterling silver).

Necklace measures 16” in length (adjustable to 15”).

Lariat drop measures 6.5cm in length.
