This luxuriously weighty medallion necklace was inspired by the large stallion sculptures between the busts on the walls of Pousada Palácio Estói in Faro, Portugal. Designed to encapsulate freedom and strength - typical of the horse as a symbol in ancient history - this lost wax cast piece is embellished with a dainty halo of beads around the face. Designed with a triple link drop, this tiny piece sits beautifully worn solo or layered with other coins of antiquity.

Handmade in Vancouver from 24K Gold Vermeil (which is 3 microns thick of 24K gold plated sterling silver).
